To keep things interesting for me, Dad prepares some non-renals foods in addition to the renal diet I get. Apparently too much phosphorus isn’t good for my kidneys, and this helps keep it at bay. This one’s a fine powder and honestly I don’t even know it’s there.

We tried this initially, though ultimately we settled on an aluminum hydroxide binder.
